About Tualatin Valley Lodge #2780





Tualatin Valley Lodge #2780 was Formed by merger of Lake Oswego Lodge #2263 and Multnomah Lodge #2441 on March 6, 1993. The Lodge moved into its new building in Tualatin, Or. on New Years Eve, 1997. The building was dedicated on June 27, 1998 by Frank Hise, Past Grand Exalted Ruler, assisted by James Damon, Past Grand Exalted Ruler.

Tualatin Valley Lodge No. 2780 engages in many charitable activities in the Community such as Christmas Basket Distribution, Youth Scholarships for high school seniors, Elks Hoop Shoot Contest for Elementary and Junior high students, Bingo games for Veterans at the Veterans Hospital in Portland and support of the Reach Center. The Lodge members are very active in their support of the Oregon State Elks association major projects which are the Elks Children's Eye Clinic Elks at the Casey Eye Institute and Meadowood speech camp. On December 20, 2003 the Lodge members distributed 100 Christmas baskets to families in the Tualatin, Tigard and Wilsonville areas including toys for 244 children.  The total value of this effort was $13,881 this is the thirty eighth consecutive year that we have held this very rewarding activity.
